The Uncrowded Kitchen

There was no space, so things were everywhere.  Now there is space, and beauty.  This client was very nervous about the design process, especially choosing her finish selections and appliances.  Chris Gage talked at length with her, brought her some pictures to get reactions, and then went shopping.  He found the handmade backsplash tiles at a small tile shop he had known about for years.  These tiles were all leftovers from other orders and after a couple of hours of searching through bins and shelves, Chris had a handmade tile backsplash at a Home Depot tile price.  Chris also helped with the floor tile and granite counters by looking around until he was satisfied about the right selections, and then brought  his client 2 of each to choose from. He also presented 2 sinks and 2 faucets.  And 2 paint colors!
