Deck With A View
These clients have a great view, and they wanted to be able to sit outside to enjoy it rain or shine, and not worry about mosquitoes and bugs. The solution was a deck with a screened dining area. Traditional railings can really block the view, so Chris Gage used ½” stainless steel rods as balusters. As the photos show, you can see right through the railings. The open cooking area of the deck has a lamp set on top of one of the railing posts – a useful and pretty touch.
This is what they wanted – a place to have dinner while enjoying the view.
